The Sintra project was the regeneration of a private Quinta in Portugal. The land was previously a small-scale vegetable producer and vineyard. The soil was severely degraded and compacted due to the use of machinery.
This project combined soil regeneration with integrated ecological design to restore the land and increase diversity and small-scale mixed crop production. A syntropic agroforest combined with a mixed crop orchard was produced surrounded by wildflower meadow.
